Without Hope Abraham believed in hope. God credited to him righteousness. He was raised to life for our justification. So in effect, the lord gave Abraham new life once he believed in the word received from the Lord. When you act and trust the word of the Lord he will renew your life. For his words are life and as Jesus said, we live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
So, we need the Lord. When you act upon his commands like Abraham did you will stand alone. This is because God’s way of life is in direct contradiction to the way of this world. He may call you to do something that seems completely foolish. But that’s ok because he uses the foolish things of this world to confuse the wise. As you live this life you will experience hurt either from family or from some pain (physical, mental or social). But he will give you strength and healing to heal that hurt. For he is a balm (soothing healing lotion) from Gilead.
As we live this life, you may stumble either because of mistakes or falling back into old habits that were here before your commitment to the Lord. But that’s ok. For he is a faithful God of forgiveness and compassion. For though you stumble you will arise. Never run from the Lord run to him. For he will send our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west. He is faithful, just, forgiving, and he will be with us until the end. He will never break your heart. For the Psalmist David wrote, whom in heaven have I but you. Even when everyone else leaves you he’s there.
For the Lord will provide a way of escape. Life’s challenges cause us to falter, the armor that our lord gives us may seem cracked as you go through trials in life but if you hold on and stand firm not wavering in faith but continue to hold on to your faith in God – you will be blessed and highly favored. He is our strong hold when pressed in times of trouble put all of our trust in him.
Is anything too hard for God? God can and God will. Just continue to believe in God. Don’t have unrighteousness and unforgiveness in your heart, your prayers will not be answered. All things are possible to those who believe. Having faith and prayer is powerful. Satan wants to shut you up and stop you from believing in God. Making you believe that all hope will be gone. Don’t believe him, trust the Lord and you will be the devil’s enemy. He plants little seeds of doubt. He says, “Is God really going to deliver you”. If this thought comes to you, don’t meditate on it or repeat it. Just stay quiet and wait for the Lord and then rebuke that thought in the name of Jesus. Tell him, “against hope, I have hope because I have placed my trust in the Lord”.
Remember Jairus’s daughter in the bible. How she died before Jesus was able to lay hands on her for prayer. Jesus ignored the death report and looked at Jairus stating, “Don’t be afraid, just believe. And Jairus received his daughter back from death. Halleluiah!
Abraham and Sarah, impossible for them to have a child against all hope they believed. You tell the devil I don’t care what it looks like, I believe and trust the Lord. God is coming don’t be afraid, just believe. Set your eyes on the Lord and he won’t fail you. Keep the faith and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight the devil until you win. You will get battle fatigue so you should have a prayer warrior. It has to be someone who believes like you believe. Someone that builds you up. Trust them. With your prayer warrior you can beat the devil like Creed did in the new Rocky movie with a one two punch.
In life when everyone leaves and abandons you and you are all alone, though you stand alone, God is with you, He makes you whole because he is your shield and he covers you with his love and protection.
